Somarys earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami, Florida. During her time at St. Thomas University, Somarys was a vital member of the Immigration Clinic and served as an executive officer of the Immigration Law Student Association, where she further honed her legal skills and passion for immigration advocacy.
