The World Trade Center houses a number of businesses, one of which is Inc. Magazine. The prestigious publication publishes just six issues per year yet is considered one of the most credible business publications in the world.
The publication recently unveiled its Inc. Magazine Female Founders 200 List in April, and not surprisingly Lorena Rivas was on the list. The publication describes those making the list as the “Women Building the Companies of Tomorrow (by) pushing boundaries, paving, their own paths, and besting the competition.”
Lorena Rivas, by all accounts, more than fits that bill.
When her immigration law firm Rivas & Associates first opened its doors at its Tulsa Kendall Whittier location in the summer of 2020, the firm had less than 10 employees. Thanks to the extraordinary vision of Lorena Rivas, Elissa Stiles, and others, Rivas & Associates now has an international presence with over 90 employees working around the clock to help clients from Kentucky to Mexico to Venezuela.

Rivas, who has been named to the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars List each of the past five years, was one of only five attorneys to make the Inc. Magazine Female Founders 200 List.
The accolade comes than less a month after the prominent business publication recognized Rivas & Associates as one of the 1,125 fastest-growing companies in the United States for 2023. The powerhouse immigration law firm was one of only 11 law firms nationwide to make the list.
The well-known American business publication released its list of the 1,125 fast-growing companies in the United States for 2023, and Rivas & Associates is prominently featured – one of only 11 law firms nationwide to make the list.
The firm was ranked No. 31 of 168 companies to make Inc.com’s Regional 2023 Southwest List of privately-owned businesses from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. The Tulsa-based immigration firm was also the first law firm recognized and one of only three listed in the region.
To further illustrate the firm’s unprecedented growth, Lorena Rivas recently announced Rivas & Associates would be moving into a state-of-the-art 20,000 square-foot, $1.65 million dollar Tulsa Midtown headquarters in the Spring of 2024.
