
Biography
Sara Franco is an Associate Attorney at Rivas & Associates, specializing in removal defense and immigration law since joining in September 2023. Focused on asylum, cancellation of removal, detained representation, and appeals, she brings expertise and dedication to every case. Prior to her current role, Sara served as a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. Specializing in family law with a focus on domestic violence advocacy, she handled divorces, custody cases, and victim protective orders. Notably, she provided crucial training to community members, empowering them to advocate for survivors in victim protective order cases.
Sara holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma (2021) and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2017. Beyond her legal practice, Sara serves as the Secretary of the Immigration Bar Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, showcasing her commitment to staying informed and engaged within the legal community.
