Sarah Daquioag is a Staff Attorney focused on advanced immigration litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on federal habeas corpus matters and other complex appellate work. She handles cases that call for careful legal research, detailed analysis, and close attention to the procedural and constitutional issues that come up when an immigration case moves beyond the immigration courts.
Sarah works from the belief that the smallest details can decide a case. She reads statutes, court decisions, filings, and legal arguments closely, because a single word or sentence can change how a law is applied and shape a client’s future.
Much of her work is habeas corpus litigation, which gives people held in detention a way to challenge unlawful or prolonged immigration detention in federal court. She also assists with appellate matters and other advanced litigation, identifying legal and procedural issues and building arguments that protect clients’ rights as their cases move into more complex stages.
Sarah has deep ties to the Oklahoma community. She graduated from Del City in 2017, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2021, and received her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2025. She passed the bar in 2026 and began her legal career with an appreciation for both the responsibility attorneys carry and the importance of continuing to grow as an advocate.
Sarah was born in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her Filipino heritage is an important part of who she is, and she values having grown up at the intersection of Filipino and American cultures. Outside of her practice, Sarah is passionate about supporting children in her community and volunteers through Sunnylane United Methodist Church, including its youth and arts programming. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, disc golf, tennis, and exploring new restaurants.
