Bethany Dohman

Biography
Bethany Dohman lives in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked in immigration defense for the last five years. Before working at Rivas & Associates, she worked for a non-profit where she worked with unaccompanied immigrant children and learned how to implement trauma-informed lawyering skills into her daily practice.
This has made her a more empathetic and compassionate attorney. She is passionate about helping families stay in the United States. She understands how difficult the decision is to uproot one’s family to come to another country and is fully dedicated to each and every person that she works with.
In her free time, Bethany enjoys reading, playing volleyball, being in nature, and spending time with her friends and family. She is currently working on her next goal to to become fluent in Spanish.
