DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) is a childhood arrivals program allowing deferred action, created to temporarily put off removal for certain people who came to the United States as children and meet specific guidelines. It may allow a separate request for employment authorization. DACA does not create lawful immigration status.
