Lorena Rivas (Abogada Lorena)
Originally from Mutual, Oklahoma, Lorena is the proud daughter of two Mexican nationals who have paved the way for her to continually serve and represent her community.
Lorena Rivas is CEO of Rivas & Associates, an immigration law firm that serves immigrants all over the United States. To further assist her clients, she recently opened the Colegio de Sueños (College of Dreams) that offers English as a Second Language (ESL) and citizenship courses to individuals seeking to become citizens of the United States.
Elissa Stiles
Elissa Stiles is a rising star in the field of immigration law.
The Tulsa immigration lawyer is a supervising attorney with Rivas & Associates, where Elissa dedicates herself to asylum cases, deportation defense, detained representation, appeals, and federal immigration-based litigation.


Grisel Wilson
Grisel Wilson is an experienced attorney in criminal and immigration law. She gained trial experience as a former public defender in Eastern Kentucky, representing a variety of clients charged with simple misdemeanors to serious felony offenses.
Braxton Coil
Braxton Coil is passionate about advocating for individuals and families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, she earned her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law and is licensed to practice in Oklahoma.
Her background spans criminal defense and immigration law, and she focuses her practice on immigration, family-based cases, and humanitarian relief.


Brenda Cristela Lozano
Brenda Cristela Lozano was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrant parents. She was admitted to practice law in October of 2024 and has since dedicated her legal career to practicing in immigration removal defense. Before becoming an attorney Brenda served as the Executive Director for a local grassroots non-profit by the name of Dream Action Oklahoma (DAOK). During her time at DAOK, Brenda worked with local immigrant and queer youth to advance the cause of justice for immigrants through various sectors, including advocacy and education.
Maria Stallings
Maria Stallings is a consultation attorney with Rivas and Associates. A proud member of the Texas State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Maria embarked on her legal journey in 2022 as a criminal defense attorney near her hometown in Houston, Texas, with the drive to defend those who often feel powerless in the face of the judicial system. Since then, her commitment to helping others has only grown, as she began to defend those facing deportation in immigration court and advocate for their relief before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Today, she utilizes her legal expertise to assist clients in navigating complex immigration processes and protecting their rights, ensuring they receive the fair representation and immigration benefits they deserve.

Alvaro Abrego-Salazar
Alvaro Abrego-Salazar is an immigration attorney licensed in California with over a decade of experience advocating for immigrant communities. He earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and has worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, including Casa Cornelia Law Center and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).

Bethany Dohman
Bethany Dohman has worked in immigration defense for the last five years. Before joining Rivas & Associates, she represented unaccompanied immigrant children at a non-profit, where she learned to bring trauma-informed lawyering into her daily practice.
