Biography
Sueci Gimenez is a passionate and driven immigration attorney dedicated to fiercely advocating for her clients and guiding them through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. With extensive experience in adjustment of status, VAWA cases, U and T visas, citizenship, asylum, and consular processing, she approaches every case with compassion, determination, and a deep understanding of what’s at stake for the individuals and families she represents.
Her journey into immigration law is deeply personal. Born in Uruguay, she immigrated to the United States as a child and has experienced firsthand the challenges, fears, and hopes that accompany the immigration process. Having navigated several immigration journeys herself—and for her own family—she understands what her clients are going through. This personal connection fuels her philosophy: to fight for her clients with the same determination and care she would want an attorney to fight for her own family.
Sueci earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Florida and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. While pursuing her master’s degree, she worked as a victim advocate at a domestic violence shelter, an experience that solidified her passion for helping vulnerable populations and inspired her to pursue a career in law. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she participated in the school’s renowned Immigration Clinic under the mentorship of an immigration attorney with over twenty years of experience. Through the clinic, she represented real clients in a wide range of matters, including detention, asylum, and VAWA cases.
With both personal insight and extensive professional training, Sueci is committed to providing compassionate, strategic, and zealous representation to every client she serves. Her mission is to empower immigrants through advocacy, ensuring that each client has a strong voice and a trusted ally as they navigate their path to a better future.
