At Rivas & Associates, we go beyond legal services. Founded by the daughter of Mexican immigrants, we provide holistic immigration support including community advocacy, educational programs, and cultural connection.

Linda Allegro is a passionate community advocate with over two decades of experience organizing for and with immigrants in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which she proudly calls home. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science with a specialization in Latin American migration and is the co-editor of Latin American Migrations to the U.S. Heartland, a landmark volume on emerging migration patterns.

Originally from Miami and formerly based in New York City, Linda has deep ties to Central American and Mexican migrant communities. She founded a community center in Tulsa, led a deportation defense/detention watch hotline, and has taught university courses on transnational migration. At Rivas & Associates, she combines scholarly insight with grassroots activism to uplift and support immigrant families across the region.
